Setup Guide
Everything you need to get started with Infinite Apex.
Installation
Download Infinite Apex from itch.io and extract it to your preferred location. The game requires approximately 1 GB of disk space.
On first launch, the game will ask for a display name for leaderboards and input method. These can be changed later in the settings menu.
Your First Race
From the main menu, select 'New Track' and enter any seed number. The track will generate in a few seconds. You can also press 'Randomize' to get a random seed.
Once the track loads, you'll start right in front of the start/finish line. Complete a full lap to set your first time. The timer begins when you cross the start/finish line.
Controls
Infinite Apex supports keyboard, game controllers, and steering wheels. Below are the default key bindings for keyboard and controller.
| Action | Keyboard | Controller |
|---|---|---|
| Accelerate | W | RT |
| Brake | S | LT |
| Steer Left | A | Left Stick |
| Steer Right | D | Left Stick |

| Shift Down | Gears (1-6 & R) | B |

Steering Wheel Setup
Infinite Apex has universal support for a wide range of steering wheels. To set up your wheel, connect it to your PC and launch the game.
First, make sure you have selected 'Wheel and Pedals' as your input method in the Settings -> General tab. Then, go to the Input tab to calibrate your wheel and pedals.
You have the option of calibrating every component together in one flow, or calibrating each component (wheel, pedals, shifter, etc) separately. The separate calibration option allows support for separate devices likes shifters.
Submitting to Leaderboards
Times are automatically submitted to the global leaderboard when you complete a valid lap. Make sure you have an active internet connection.
You can view leaderboards for any seed on this website by entering the seed number on the home page. Leaderboards can be filtered by input type (keyboard, controller, wheel) to ensure fair competition.
